He's one of those smart guys who has being doing some remarkable stuff on the Internet and we talk with him about his work as a security researcher (he got criminals in Russia thrown in jail) as well as what he's doing now at BitGravity, which is a new CDN that's delivering HD video.
Paul Bloore, CTO of Idee, shows me TinEye, which helps you find images on the Internet. It’s an amazing search engine, it can even find images of yours that have been copied and used in other images on the Internet (ie, stolen without giving the copyright holder credit).
Rodrigo Sepulveda Schulz, founder and managing partner of RISC Partners, a venture capital firm in Paris, France, shows off the geneology app, GeneaNet.com, he uses to keep track of his vast family tree to famous VC Steve Jurvetson (who funded Hotmail, among other things). The demo took place during the speaker/VIP dinner at the recent Fortune Brainstorm Tech conference in Half Moon Bay, CA.
